Bible Study Groups
One of Comet Bay Baptist Church’s goals is to grow the church membership in their knowledge of God. To this end, all church members are encouraged to attend one of the weekly Bible Study groups. At present, there are five such groups running.

Monday Evening Bible Study
Meeting each Monday evening from 8pm, this group explores a variety of Biblical books and other topics. On occassion, the group hosts visiting missionaries. Led by Graeme Hollis, one of the church elders, the Monday evening Bible Study group is currently looking at the story of King David. VIsitors are always welcome.

Tuesday Ladies’ Bible Study Group A
Meeting in Singleton, this group meets for fellowship and Bible study following the Know Your Bible programme. Currently, the ladies are working through Paul’s letters to the Thessalonians.

Tuesday Ladies’ Bible Study Group B
Meeting in Mandurah, this group likewise follows the Know Your Bible programme. Currently, the ladies are working through Paul’s letters to the Thessalonians.

Wednesday Ladies’ Bible Study Group
Meeting in Golden Bay, this group meets for fellowship and Bible study following the Know Your Bible programme. Currently, the ladies are working through Paul’s letters to the Thessalonians.
Prayer Meetings

According to the book of James, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” Prayer is a vital part of Comet Bay Baptist Church’s work. As such, a number of groups meet regularly for prayer.

Monday Evening Prayer Meeting
Each Monday evening, at 7:30pm, a group meets in Singleton to pray for our church, our world, each other, and ourselves.

Friday Morning Prayer Meeting
The Friday Morning prayer meeting, held in Golden Bay, focusses on prayer for the work of Comet Bay Baptist Church and the church in general.

Sunday Morning Prayer Meeting
At 8:30 each Sunday Morning, a group meets at the church to pray for that day’s service.
