Sunday Morning Services
Our Sunday Morning service begins at 9:30am at the Coastal Community Centre in Tangadee Road, Golden Bay. Our worship services strive to include a mix of both contemporary and traditional elements. Communion is practiced on the first Sunday of each month. After the Sunday morning service, we gather for coffee and tea. Visitors are, of course, welcome!
Through the course of the year, sermons cover a range of topics and Biblical books. We are convinced that the teaching of Scripture is key to the growth of God’s people.

Sunday Evening Services
Evening services are held on a monthly basis. The first evening meeting will be held at Reg and Joy’s house, starting at 6pm with a bring and share meal. After the meal, we’ll celebrate communion together, moving into a time of praise and worship and prayer. There’ll be a short “missions” update, a short devotional message, and testimonies of God’s goodness.

Children’s Church
Comet Bay Baptist Church has a vibrant children’s church programme that runs parallel with the sermon on Sunday mornings. Training our children in godliness is a high priority for us. Since we believe family worship to be of tremendous value, children attend the first part of the worship service – prior to the Sermon – in the main assembly. During the sermon, primary age children get to learn more about God in a fun-filled enviroment.
